North Carolina Hurricane 2016 DOT NEWS.  The 2 LMS50s we purchased rode the storm out with no problems. They are located about 50 yards from Oregon Inlet. They saw sustained winds around 75 – 80 with gusts near 100. The cameras continued feeding images to the STOC throughout the event. Marked below are the locations of the towers.
